Art in Later Life
Inspiring those in later life to get creative and discover their inner artist!
Later Life Art Classes
At Paint on Sunday, we believe in the power of creativity to reduce stress and improve mental health. Our attendees often report a significant boost in mood and a sense of happiness, both during and after our classes. We understand that art offers a unique form of self-expression, allowing individuals to communicate creatively, without the need for words.
Our themed classes are adaptable to suit any group size, with special expertise in guiding sessions for diverse clients, including those in later life. Paint on Sunday regularly hosts classes in residential homes across Surrey, bringing the therapeutic benefits of art directly to those who need it most.

What we can offer
Paint on Sunday brings the art experience directly to you, providing all the necessary equipment for every class. We offer classes on various days of the week, not just Sundays, to fit your schedule.
The theme of each class mirrors the time of year. In the winter season there is sparkle and glitter, and in the summer we have a holiday and Wimledon themes, such as tennis balls, buckets and spades.
Each session includes high-quality, water-based paints, canvases, aprons, easels, brushes, pots for water, still life objects, and tablecloths. At the end of the class, every artist will take home their finished canvas, a beautiful keepsake to enjoy and reflect on.
